I love playing with the scale of things. It feels a bit “Alice in Wonderland”…

Inspired by a puppet show I once created where Mr M flew through the air in a giant red teapot, I thought I’d reprise the idea with our brave twosome in a teacup boat. If you’re a collector, you could see this as a companion piece to Mr Tea Cosy. And if you like hiding pebbles and little treasures, there’s ample space inside our ‘boat’ for all your squirrelling requirements.

A small edition of 22.

Hand waxed and buffed to a soft sheen. The cup is a rich reddish hue to bring to mind old terracotta plant pots and vintage tableware. The figures are worked in a more traditional green/brown patina.

• Each finished with black velvet on the base to prevent scratching
• Sold with a signed hand rendered authenticity certificate
