Today while I was making my lunch a baby sparrow ( they’ve been noisily nesting in my garden ) flew right into my kitchen and kept bonking her little head as she tried to fly out of a chink in the window. It took me a little while to catch her as she was trying to hide between the sashes and I didn’t want to crush her. She was SO SOFT AND WARM. I was afraid she would die of shock but when I took her into the garden she flew like a professional and hid in the ivy. I pretended not to see her. ![]()
She was smaller and lovelier than these little sketches. But nonetheless these are small and lovely too. They are available from 10am tomorrow 17th June for £22 each from CLUBROOM at the shop at www.samtoft.co.uk and they are all there now if you want to choose your favourite. They are marked as SOLD because they are only available from 10 o’clock in the morning. One per customer please. Any cheating and you’ll be refunded and the drawing put back on sale pdq!!

A thin strip of light streaming across my face woke me early this morning so I decided to go find a tree in the park and sit with the blackbirds 🐦⬛ Tomortow I’ll start editioning our 7 new prints ( the top 7 listings at our online shop ) and can personalise any purchased before Monday morning. Maybe think ahead and get that special present in the bag ? ![]()
I work from a studio in Brighton where these special editions are published, and then send, once editioned, to my sister in Cornwall. So there’s a small window of personalisation and I’ll be glad to do it free of charge. Club members can use their discount codes and save up to 20%![]()

I know things are hard for so many right now. And getting your ducks in a row is the least of your worries. But my week has been busy. A bit like juggling jelly in my brain sometimes !
