Cats on Parade!
So few of my paintings are Just Cats, but after my holiday in Greece where there are so many cats and kittens, I felt inspired. I don’t know why but there were lots of ginger stripies on Ithaca. And one in particular I wanted to bring home. Could I have fed him full of ouzo to keep him quiet and stashed him in my carry-on bag? We rescued him from a dumpster where he’d been searching for food and seemed too hot, weak and small to jump out. We left him water and a pot of Greek yoghurt.
